the first dream world idea is basically toyland, like a world made of nothing but plushed walls, floors, chairs, etc. and there are toys just everywhere. the trains are thomas the train, the cars look like hot wheels, the citizens look like bratz, barbies, etc. but less creepy and more like cartoony animated. basic utensils are replaced by the plastic replicas - so a tea set is made of plastic instead, unless it's a really nice tea set, then it's more legit but still toy-like. however, despite being plastic, the tools still work in the same way as their actual counterparts do.
so allister's a man in his twenties, but he doesn't really act like it. more of a man child that is innocent but not ignorant. despite a very happy-go-lucky personality, he hasn't lived a very easy life that exposed him to a lot of things one wouldn't typically expect when getting to know him. as a dream walker that takes full advantage of his ability to traverse into others' dreams, he loves bouncing from world to world and exploring. he's really a total sweetheart, but a lot of the time things have a tendency to fly over his head since he's kind of a bit inept in terms of socialization.
allister would be fun for just random encounters, fun adventures into the numerous dream worlds, really anything goes. pairing him with someone that's a bit more brash, short tempered, and ready for a fight would be fun since he's a calm, patient, and very pacifistic person. he'd be a good foil for those type of characters, and he already acts like the opposite of miguel hidalgo since they're adopted brothers in a roundabout way.
he used to have a pet bird that died recently. the spirit of the dead bird manifests in his dreams to act as his sassy and clumsy companion named timothy. this bird has been known to manifest as more than just a bird.

i actually had a couple ideas for her dreamworld.

based off of the underwater sci fi survival game, subnautica, this dreamworld takes place under the surface in an underwater society. you could almost consider it a sci fi version of atlantis. the underwater cities are massive and everyone that comes to the dreamworld will have intuitive knowledge on how to navigate submarines, scuba dive, etc. just be careful, because alien-like sea giants roam nearby and not all of them are gentle giants.

the other idea was also sci fi based in a world that was just a giant game of laser tag or paintball (which would be less sci fi admittedly) it'd probably have a lot of cool hang outs for people to watch others play the games and pretty much everyone would have their own color and custom paintball gun.
ricki is an optimistic woman that just desires to make others happy - often putting herself at risk in the process. she's the type of person that gives many the benefit of the doubt when they first meet, a person that would be friend a shade even while knowing they are a shade. she has a firm belief that people are capable of change, even a shade. however, this doesn't make ricki a doormat because the woman is a spitfire. if someone's pissing her off, even if they mean well, she will let them know. she isn't always all hugs and soft assurances, but the type of person that will slap or punch someone she wants to help when they go too far.
ricki's a rather motherly like character, so any youth that need guidance would be welcomed to her side. she's the type of person that'd willingly look out for others that can't seem to fend for themselves. her avid belief that everyone can change and redeem themselves also leads her to be willing to talk to a shade rather than be the shoot on sight type.
ricki's job in real life is an 'exotic dancer' due to the high payout allowing her to pay for a lot of debt that's currently eating at her. it's a stressful job for her, having never been one to like strangers eyeballing her, but it has branched off of a desire to dance for a living.

she's also married a russian immigrant to america by the name of zernebog romanov. however, the marriage isn't out of love but more a case of using the marriage to let zernebog stay in the country so long as he helps pay off her debts as well. in order to avoid getting in trouble for this fake marriage, the two have to pretend to be in love with each other in front of others for the most part.

the forbidden city of china probably is no where near as colorful as this place, but regardless, it has been named the forbidden city. the city is always lively with activity as it seems there's a festival going on that never ends. all kinds of stands for games, food, gift shops, etc. there's always something to do here. if the games or food aren't your kind of thing, there are the various temples that are full of all kinds of old artwork that seems to be alive as the paintings in the temples move as well. one of the most remarkable features though is the sight of the rainbow-esque oriental dragon that flies around the place like some sort of silent guardian. seeing it seems to be a symbol for good luck.
growing up with a very strict and harsh father, when around strangers, jia is prim and polished. quiet and speaking only when necessary, his expression tends to be calm and controlled at all times. many may mistake him for being something of a killjoy as he doesn't just rush off willy nilly. however, when jia figures out the personas of those around him and eases into the environment, another side of him starts to come out. a very playful and troublesome side, in fact. when he feels he can drop the 'humble gentleman' act, he goes balls to the walls and leaves a path of chaos in his wake. he loves conflict, he loves challenges and making a scene, the boy has been repressed most of his life and he will gladly take any chance he gets to unwind and have fun.
with his love for fighting and conflict, jia would be the type to dedicate himself to the cause of wiping out the shade problem. he's got a thing for swords, y'know? having once been a member of the chinese military, he is surprisingly skilled as a fighter. when not fighting and raising hell though, jia is a great friend for helping others get out of their shells as well. he's quite the mysterious and secretive person himself, more willing to listen to others tell their stories than share his own. would be nice for him to make friends that can bring out his softer and more honest side.
jia hasn't actually left his forbidden city since his dreamwalker abilities awoke. he doesn't really know anything about shades or gaea, just that he has oddly vivid dreams about this city of his own design.

so, i had a few ideas in terms of what characters and what dream worlds i've been wanting to make, but am stuck with the eternal question of which one do i make next. all of the following characters will be made in due time, but as it stands, i just need to know what order to make them in. so simply post a response saying which character you'd be interested in interacting first. i'd make this a poll, but i'm probably going to just edit this thread over time if i get more ideas and what have you.
