[attr="class","liklovstuff2"]friends aren't the easiest for annie to make, but it's not impossible. most people tend to wander into her dream world without paying attention, entranced by the plants of the greenhouse, and are usually kind of terrified to find themselves wake up in this huge jungle with no idea of how they got there and why they feel like they just watched the whole world collapse (which isn't that far from the truth.) most of the time, people are either going to meet annie in gaea's dream or in the jungle — both gives you different yet similar reactions. either way, she's very protective of herself and her jungle, so she's probably gonna treat you in not the most polite of ways. while in gaea's dream, annie will simply glare and answer your questions curtly. while in her world, she'll probably tie you down with vines that seem to have a mind of their own and interrogate you as to why you've showed up there. however, she has an odd trust for most, if not all, animals. they retain their usual, non-human shape in her world (maybe slightly more modified to look a little more threatening, but that's all) and for whatever reason she warms up to them much more easily.

while definitely kind of difficult to befriend, it's worth it in the end. anthea's cunning and extremely intelligent, not to mention dangerous (let's just say she took a "few" self-defense classes...) and knows what to do in a difficult situation. however, she can be kind of bossy and territorial, so prepare yourself for a really overprotective mother/sister figure.

[attr="class","liklovstuff2"]these aren't that hard to come by with this silver-tongued femme fatale. she's quick to distrust and isn't afraid to say it, either — whenever she meets somebody (besides an animal, of course) annie is 100% sure that they're her enemy or out to get her or something. it's kind of sad, but it's the best way to protect herself. and the less friends, usually the less drama — so she doesn't really mind.[break][break]
although while she's in her florist shop in san diego, anthea is super friendly and talkative, she's actually pretty paranoid and convinced that some people are actually something much darker than they seem. but she keeps this much to herself, as it's not really the best way to live in the real world. however, when dream walking, she decides she can do whatever she damn pleases. also, as a note, annie's extremely competitive over everything so it's definitely not farfetched for her to try and prove herself as better than anyone/everyone else at something, even if she's never done it before. but don't underestimate her — she adapts pretty quickly. rivalries welcome.

[attr="class","liklovstuff2"]i can definitely see annie as some sort of romantic beauty in the eyes of many people living in san diego, to the point of people coming to her florist shop with gifts and, her favorite, flowers. she considers the thought flattering, but also highly suspicious — and although she won't mention it to your face, she'll probably consider you as some evil mastermind with a plan to kill her and inspect the flowers thoroughly before taking them to her house and using them as a decoration. she still appreciates it, though. just in a weirdly cynical way (mostly just because she loves flowers).

however in the dream worlds, she's a lot less likely to keep rude thoughts out of her mouth. maybe, if some cute person is persistent, she'll waver and get a little awkwardly blushy, but that'd take some time and resilience. more than likely she'll scare off anybody that's interested. the best bet here is some friend that is romantically/sexually interested and gets the better of her judgement after gliding past her paranoia.
