[attr="class","ur_appsubtitle"]FIRSTNAME'S STARTING DREAM WORLD
[attr="class","ur_appcont"]
GENERAL DESCRIPTION[break]
noreia is what aurora calls her dreamworld, its name is derived from an ancient lost city. in short, noreia is a mixture of wonderland and neverland, with nonsensical and whimsical creatures and where strange events take place. while noreia might have pleasant surprises, dangers not only from shades also lurks around the corners of the dreamworld.
[break][break]
APPEARANCE[break]
when you arrive in noreia, one thing is certain; nothing would be what it is, and everything would be what it isn't. for starters, these images might help you picture aurora's dreamworld; [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. in noreia, the whole land is ruled by a single queen, and the flowers in gardens can talk, mushrooms and trees glow, marine creatures swim in the air, birds fly in the sea, fairies dwell in the forests, mermaids wait for their victims in the lagoons, cats and rabbits and all the other animals can grin and speak, tea parties are held everyday, mountains are almost as tall as the everest.
[break][break]
aurora's dreamworld has breathtaking scenery and a magical feel to it. as a whole, it's a little... bizarre. but not everything is pleasantly eccentric, because nightmarish creatures also exist. there are mermaids awaiting to drown you in the waters, shadow people lurking at eerily quiet places, waiting to kidnap you. who knows what they'll do after capturing you? maybe death awaits, maybe they're not truly bad people. things are quite unpredictable in noreia anyway. in addition, there are of course, other dangers that comes with marine and avian creatures wandering where they shouldn't be in the real world. one second, you'll see a shark behind you perhaps. in a certain way, noreia is a place where your life could be at stake.
[break][break]
POINTS OF ENTRY[break]
in gaea's dream, look for a rabbit hole. you will fall down either for a really long time or very slowly, because you'll see a collection of random items from aurora's childhood memories; pictures of her grandfather, her drawings and sketches, her old abandoned dolls and teddy bears, playing tea sets, jars of cookies and whatnot. soon, your surroundings will slowly blur for a moment, and you'll find yourself falling no longer from a rabbit role, but a gloomy sky. when you take notice of the sky, you'll fall very quickly, as if gravity's finally back and pulling you to the ground. often, you'll fall into the flower gardens, where the flowers would greet you with either a very warm welcome or try to eat you, depending on their moods—yes, flowers have feelings too, okay? actually, almost everything does in noreia. from here on, you are free to roam the place. the only way out of the garden is by entering the gate that will stand a few distance away before you. and when you enter, the bizarre things would begin and everything would be fine, just as long as you know how to survive—or you would be hanging yourself.
[break][break]
NOTABLE FIGURES (OPTIONAL)[break]
mostly the individuals in aurora's dreamworld has no connections at all with the people she knows in the waking world. however, there is one that represent someone she is very close to; her aunt, who here, is represented by the queen of noreia. but instead of having her real name, lorraine, in noreia, the queen goes by the name 'lorelai'. she seems to have a similar personality with lorraine, especially loving of aurora and very welcoming of the visitors of noreia.
[break][break]
there are other creatures that haunt the darker sides of noreia are the mermaids and the shadow people. the mermaids in the lagoons represents aurora's fear of drowning. despite liking the ocean, the girl knows nothing about floating on water. and the shadow people, they represent her views on people in general, that nobody should be easily trusted because one day, they will betray you anyway. in this case though, the shadow people will only kidnap those lurking in the dark and when the weather is terrible in noreia. what they will do afterwards is not known.
[break][break]
OTHER DETAILS (OPTIONAL)[break]
the weather in noreia changes rapidly, usually according to aurora's moods. for example, when she's happy the weather would be nice and sunny, when she's sad rain will pour, and when she's angry, it would be very hot or very wet with lightning and thunders, hurricanes and/or tornadoes.

[attr="class","ur_appsubtitle"]CHARACTER HISTORY (OPTIONAL)
[attr="class","ur_appcont"]
aurora was born in london, where she lived for six years until moving to paris under her parents' request. her father and mother were busy business people, neglecting their two children; aurora and her older brother, valentine. unlike aurora, however, valentine had always lived with their grandfather in france. knowing that aurora would be in the hands of her brother and grandfather, her parents knew they could depend on them, and thus they were more focused on work, promising to return only when they've reached their ultimate goals. although, they did assure the children that they would meet occasionally, every christmas and new years.
[break][break]
when she was seven, aurora lived with her grandfather and valentine. at this time, life seemed to be easy and peaceful. she was happy although only having a small family. but when her grandfather passed away five years later when she was twelve, she had a little breakdown. aurora and valentine had to move to their aunt lorraine's residence because there was nowhere else to go to. but in contrast to her grandfather who understood the two children deeply, lorraine barely understood them. but nonetheless, she still showered aurora and valentine with affection every day for she was a single lady and wished to have a family of her own.
[break][break]
you would think being loved and taken care of would ease her pain, but it didn't. although loving, lorraine was unbelievably optimistic, almost to the point that she was blinded from the terrible things going on in reality. she was different from aurora, who was a pessimist, and valentine, who was too sensible and logical of a person that he was almost boring to talk to (but he was very protective and caring of aurora, so she accepts this as a good excuse). lorraine was never able to see through the two siblings' masks, and so the younger one pretended to be alright all the time, and became used to acting.
[break][break]
with lorraine unable to understand aurora's state of mind and her brother valentine busy with trying to hide his own grief and continue with life as if everything was fine, aurora was alone and lonely, both at home and at school because she never tried to get along with anyone and kept herself quiet most of the time. when she spoke, her words were harsh and brutal and this causes some of her classmates to despise her.
[break][break]
thinking that her life was a terrible joke, she found herself sleeping away her worries, all the time, spending more time in her dreamworld than the waking world. she had been sleeping even more when valentine had a job and moved away from the house, leaving her no choice but to eventually get along with lorraine and try to cooperate with each other.
[break][break]
aurora is in university now, helping her aunt with writing books and giving her ideas at times. perhaps influenced by lorraine, aurora also became indulged in writing, sometimes, when she's not sleeping. she writes poems, short stories, and has her own novel in the process of publishing, thanks to her aunt. it seems like now they were getting along quite well, and despite having a complicated relation, they still loved each other.
