[attr="class","ur_appsubtitle"]ALEKSANDER'S STARTING DREAM WORLD
[attr="class","ur_appcont"]
GENERAL DESCRIPTION[break]
Net Slum is place with a grand mixture of sci-fi aspects and the appearance of Japan's (or Hong Kong's) slums in a strange maze-like surrounding. Building with uncleaned rotting walls, flashing LED signs, small water puddles in every corner and ground. Upon entering this dream world, one would be given a fox mask to hide their faces. Any attempt to gaze up for a possible sky is obscured by the tall buildings that stacked upon each other endlessly. Trying to reach the top of those buildings would also be useless, as there are also no end to them. LED signs and lights will flicker on and off occasionally, sometimes turning off completely. There's a variety of shops with their garage like doors wide open, indicating anyone who wanders by to enter.
[break][break]
However, there is no shop keeper, yet the shops are able to maintain themselves including any food order as if there are ghosts among the shops. Though there is no end going up there is a end in other ways—metal walls surrounds this entire town; and there's only one exit. As if to prevent anyone from entering or leaving. Though the town may seem empty, no one is truly alone—demons wander the place, hoping to find those who hide. After all; upon entering Net Slum, everyone is forced to play hide n seek.
[break][break]
APPEARANCE[break]
The grand entrance of the Net Slum, from an outside point of view, looks like a large company building gone wrong. The walls seems to be peeling, rotting, and oozing with copper liquid. The metals on the walls have rusted and the windows are so dirty, it's not even possible to glance what's inside. The entrance doors are double metal doors, though appearing rusty and creeky, seemed sturdy enough to remain intact. Upon entering, all possible light from the outside world is gone as the next room seems to be a clear cylinder tunnel leading further into the building.
[break][break]
The tunnel's floor seems to be part of sewer system, and the smell can only confirm that it might as well have been, but upon reaching the end—lights will fill one's view once more. However, it won't be the natural light of the sky, but the lights of flashing LED signs and street lights. No greetings would be given, not a single person would walk by, as the place appears to be abandoned.
[break][break]
Shops of all sorts are located everywhere, and possibly could even find unlicensed doctors and dentists joints here and there. Food stands are common to be found and everything made are fresh and ready to yet—the scent of delicious food could practically overwhelm someone's senses. Though it seems these places are running themselves with no one there to monitor them, one would quickly realize they're not alone when something inhuman roars in the distance.
[break][break]
In center of this slum, is a clear field of a grassy plain with only single oriental lamp with the word 鬼 (Oni) engraved in it's front circle plate at the very center of it. The lamp seems to be the only light source for the grassy plain and if one were to reach the center and touch the lamp, it'll grow brighter and the roars the players previously heard would sound closer with the ground shaking about.
[break][break]
A voice will escape from the lamp then, one that sounds weak and old. "Run," it'll say, "Ready or not, here they come!"
[break][break]
ACCESS[break]
In front of the company's entrance is a oriental box, decorated with talismans with red Japanese writing on each one—a possible box meant to be sealed forever? Regardless if it was or not, there's a sign written in sloppy red English text to tell anyone who sees it to open the box. Upon opening the box, there will be a fox mask(s), all different depending on the person (or people) who opened it. Once the fox mask(s) are removed, the box will close itself again.
[break][break]
One must wear the fox mask to enter Net Slum, if one refuses to put them on, the doors will not open. Upon entering the building, the doors will shut behind them and remain close until the players further venture in. As the condition to leave is to beat a game by surviving within the time limit or have the demons possess them. Once the game is over (if all players are possessed or the time limit ends), possessed players will be freed and the game will end. Players can choose to stick around and wander the world freely, but once they leave and re-enter the world, it will trigger the game again.
[break][break]
Once inside Net Slum, players are allowed to remove their mask if they desired to, but it's not recommended.
[break][break]
NOTABLE FIGURES (OPTIONAL)[break]
There are demons within this world, these demons are considered "it", and will seek out players who have entered Net Slum. These demons varies in size and seem to take great resemblance to Japanese folklore demons. These demons don't really hurt the existing players that wanders the world, but will and can knock the players out and possess them.
[break][break]
OTHER DETAILS (OPTIONAL)[break]
The fox masks is actually a 'magical' thing that helps the players hides from the demons easily. As long as the players chooses to hide from the demon's view, they will not be found. However, if one were to hide without wearing the fox masks, the demons would be able to sense them nearby and sooner or later; will find them.
[break][break]
If the players are not careful and are found by the demons seeking them out, the demons can possess the player so they can be "it" and seek out the remaining players. Those who are possessed will feel a sense of overwhelming anger or hatred towards the remaining players. Knocking possessed player out can free them from the demons, but knocked out possessed players will be forced out of the world.
