[attr="class","afir2"]THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING
[attr="class","afir3"]I am not afraid of the storm that comes my way, when it hits it shakes me to the core and makes me stronger than before. It's not a question about trust but will you stand with us. Can you feel it? Make it real. I think it might wash away tonight awaken from this never ending fight. It takes more than meets the eye. This war we're fighting is not just rotting.
[attr="class","afir4"]El Dorado, the City of Gold. You know, if this wasn’t dream land, where the profit was pointless and the money doesn’t matter, he’d probably be drooling at how much precious material was just tossed about here. However, this was the dream realms, and in this kind of place, money wasn’t really a concern. Another perk of being trapped here was the ability to avoid being worried about such things like rent or work. Nah, you just show up and do what you want. The annoying jobs no one else wanted to do were handled by the people created by the dreamers themselves. The non-living ‘NPCs’ of these worlds got the shit end of the deal.
So, if money isn’t what brought him here, or much interest for the city, what was the Shade’s reason for being here? Call it curiosity, as a thought had struck him when he heard what kind of place this dream had become recently. What did the dreamers think of a City of Gold? Did they try to take the treasure within this place? Roll in the coins and precious gems if they came across the treasure troves here? It really made him interested to see the mentality that the dreamers had if they were presented money that was beyond their wildest dreams.
He snickered at the thought, whilst walking into the market place of the city. It was buzzing with all kinds of activity and the jewelry and well-crafted golden statues weren’t the only things sparkling here. He could easily pick out the dreamers in the crowd if not for the fact they looked quite different from the ‘shop keeps’ but simply because their eyes glittered in awe at the sight of the expensive crafts laid around before them. Many of the dreamers eagerly examined the beautiful items on display, some even trying to sneak away with things. It was a little chaotic, but most market places were. Jerry was content to simply wander along and observe the reactions to this kind of stimuli, really. It made him better understand his targets, y’know?
They got so excited over things that weren’t even real, how about that? Watching a couple of kids race path with some ancient toys, laughing to themselves made him grin and shake his head. He paid little mind to the wares, up until coming across a shop offering some old instruments to be toyed with. Now, Jerry was more of a singer than a player, but it didn’t stop him from trying to strum a few notes here and there. So, bypassing a couple of dreamers trying to do some impromptu performance with the instruments they found, he settled for some old stringed makeshift guitar like instrument he couldn’t be bothered to figure out the name of. Leaning against a wall a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd, he idly took to experimenting with the instrument.
