[attr="class","ur_appsubtitle"]FLICK'S STARTING DREAM WORLD
[attr="class","ur_appcont"] GENERAL DESCRIPTION[break] Flick’s dream world, the Candy Kingdom is a dream world comprised of sweets. Just about everything is edible and Flick acts as queen of it all. Not that she does any actual ruling, but she feels that if she is in charge then no one can tell her what to do. This world stems from both her massive sweet tooth and her desire for freedom from overbearing adults. In this dream world, one can find just about every treat, except for licorice because Flick thinks that's nasty. [break][break] APPEARANCE[break] Flick’s world is confined to a valley that has a castle in the center, a small town, a lake surrounded by a forest, and is surrounded by mountains. It would be an ideal medieval looking scene if everything wasn’t made of sugary treats. Just looking at the world makes some visitors feel as though they’ve developed diabetes.
[break][break]
The castle’s walls are made of solid chocolate and the roof is made of cookies. The moat is filled with milk since one can’t have cookies without milk to go with them. The interior of the castle is various kinds of candy, the beds are made of cake, and the throne is artfully carved out toffee.
[break][break]
The village is made up of gingerbread houses and the roads are paved with peanut brittle. One must be careful when venturing off road since the terrain varies from being made up of hard rock candy, to malt plains, to sticky caramel swamps. The lake is made up of Mountain Dew though there are several smaller ponds throughout the forest that have different kinds of pop. The forest is made of towering Twix bars and peppermint sticks. Rock candy forms the mountains, but the peaks are topped with ice cream. One slope sticks out from the rest in that it is covered in slushy. From the top of the mountains, one is also able to reach out to the passing clouds, which are formed from cotton candy.
[break][break] POINTS OF ENTRY[break] In the back of a certain general store in Morpheus there is a normal looking door. It appears to lead to what is probably a storage room, but if one tries the handle it is securely locked. One might try to bash it down, but it is surprisingly sturdy. However, if someone goes through a container of lollipops on the counter by the register, they might find that the end of the stick on one of the lollipops is shaped like a key that fits smoothly into the door’s lock. Upon stepping through the door, the person will be standing in front of the drawbridge to the castle at the center of Candy Kingdom. [break][break] NOTABLE FIGURES [break] Almost all the denizens of Flick’s dream world are gingerbread people who live in the gingerbread village. Other than the average people there are two other major figures. One is a dragon that has Reeses Pieces scales and candy corn spikes that lives on one of the mountain peaks. Flick nicknamed him Puff and he takes orders from anyone who feeds him gummy bears, though Flick keeps this fact to herself. The only individual that isn’t edible is a living form of Flick’s stuffed rabbit from the real world. Maxwell Xavier Snickerdoodle is about three feet tall and his fur is white and blue. He acts as though he were a child about Flick’s age is capable of speech. Max generally accompanies Flick whenever she’s in her world, but when she’s absent he acts as her regent.[break][break] OTHER DETAILS [break] There are no adults in the Candy Kingdom. As such, anyone older than Flick takes on the appearance of a child when entering the Candy Kingdom. It is also impossible to become completely full, thus one is able to constantly eat unless they get tired of the constant sugar. In addition, sweets that are consumed are restored after a few hours. [attr="class","ur_appsubtitle"]CHARACTER HISTORY
[attr="class","ur_appcont"] Flick was trouble from the moment she was born. She was the sort of child that delighted in causing a ruckus or a huge mess. As soon as Flick could walk she took to wandering off and once she grew a bit older, she started running away on a regular basis. By the time she turned eight, Flick was well known at the local police station for all the times officers would have to go, find her, and drag her home.
[break][break]
It didn’t help that Flick’s parents were often absent. Her father was a wealthy businessman and her mother was an aspiring politician and they preferred to simply hire someone to deal with their child. Few caretakers lasted long though since they either couldn’t handle Flick or they would be fired for losing her. The ones that lasted the longest were generally strict authoritarians who wouldn’t let Flick out of their sight and would limit her sugar intake, leading her to become rather resentful of their presence. To the surprise of her current caretaker, Flick has been strangely well-behaved lately and she has taken to sleeping long hours.
